Taking a tactic from the political campaigns
If you have been studying the political campaigns and debates of late, you may have missed a trend that you can use in your business to sell to your potential customers or clients.
Why is Obama in the lead (as I write this)?
He told the better story.
There really wasn’t much talk about the issues and what each candidate would do. But all the candidates used stories to try to have potential voters to resonate with him or her.
When you hear a really good story, you often reach the point where your transported - you actually feel as though you’re part of the story.
The more well crafted a story is - one that evokes emotions - the better the chance it will help make a connection.
So use story telling as a way for them to feel connected with you in your speeches, web and sales copy, and other marketing activities.

Make the stories believable. Clinton’s duck story people laughed at.
