One of the fastest ways to bring cash in the door
I was reading Troy White’s Creative Marketing Tips newsletter yesterday and he had a great article on having a backup plan to pull in more customers when the money isn’t coming in.
In it, he offered a lot of great tips, including many ways to get in front of your current customer base.
Troy’s right. The money is in the list.
But what if you’re working in a startup, and really don’t have a customer list to speak of?
I’ve been experimenting with several list building techniques and finally created one that’s really successful in a short amount of time. I got 2500 new people on my list in just a couple of weeks. And what I love there were no tricks or sleazy tactics to get names. Plus, it got me a ton of publicity and made me look like a hero to my target market.
