Blogging from the Flight School Conference

For the next two days I will be attending the Flight School conference in Aspen, CO. It is hosted by Esther Dyson, a true visionary in the technology industry.

This conference is focused on two emerging sectors, Air Taxi and Commercial Space Travel. My business is focused on serving the air taxi industry and the broader on-demand travel marketplace.

On the schedule today are people who are changing the face of travel. Granted, I am on a panel talking about customer and scheduling systems, but many others are truly doing breakthrough things.

The theme for the conference is “Customer Experience” and it is going to be interesting looking at both of these segments and how they will address it.

On the air taxi side, topics include air taxi models, manufacturers, systems and regulations. Speakers include Vern Raburn who built the Eclipse 500 jet, Ed Iacobucci who has started DayJet to provide air taxi service.

On the space side, we have topics that include customer experience, tourism, regulations and even terra forming Mars.

These companies are true innovators in every sense of the word. I am lucky to be counted as one of them.
