…And we’re back - with our new host, Steve Fisher
After a brief hiatus, Startup Spark is ignited and ready to go with a new host.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Steve Fisher. As you can see from my head shot I am attempting to look contemplative. I write this blog as part education to my readers and part therapy for myself. I have a number of projects going on in my life, but the bottom line is that I am an entrepreneur.
I am currently CEO of The SlipStream Group, a global services firm that provides Strategic Marketing, User Experience, IT Outsourcing and Technology Advisory to the Aviation, Financial, Technology and Travel industries.
If you want to know more about me, check out my profile.
This blog is written for you, those with the entrepreneurial spirit in their heart out there trying it right now or planning and waiting for the right time. They say that if you haven’t failed then you haven’t really tried. So I guess you could say I “tried” quite a bit.
The posts will start tomorrow and the blog carnival will be coming back as well. Look for new interviews, how-to series, advice and general discussion of entrepreneurial life.

Welcome Steve. But there are problems with the links you provided. I get a page not found error on the first link and your profile does not exist on the other link. :)

Hi Steve. Nice to meet you. I’m what I’d call an entrepreneur-in-training, which means I’m not sure yet. So I kind of read and lurk and comment if I have something to add or ask. It’s good to see Startup Spark up and running again.

Carolyn,
At least you are out there doing it.
Many people always wonder if they should or could have. You are one of the rare ones and I applaud you!

Steve,
There are times when flattery will get you everywhere. This is one of them. You’ve just won my undying loyalty :)
Thank you.

I’m getting nothing on the links either. Either they were not fixed or something has gone wrong…

Steve - I wish you the best of luck. There’s a great gang of people hanging out here, so I expect there will be a lot of learning back and forth.
And the new template rocks! But one minor point - the # of comments displayed on posts is wrong. On the main / index page it said “2 comments” for this post but it was really 11.
Best of luck!

You scared me for a moment, Yosko. Then I realized that you were obviously looking at the top entry which says 2 comments, but this entry actually does say 12 (with yours)… er 13 (with mine).
I’ve had enough mods made on these templates already. :)
